SALISBURY, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday night in the 200 block of South Clay Street. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 9:45 p.m. and discovered 21-year-old David Rickey Anderson lying in the front yard of a residence with apparent gunshot wounds. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene .
As of Thursday morning, no suspect information has been released. The Salisbury Police Department is urging anyone with information or video footage related to the incident to come forward.
