ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (September 16, 2025) – The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) assisted the U.S. Marshals in arresting a man wanted for murder in Washington, D.C.
On the morning of September 11, 2025, deputies joined U.S. Marshals in locating Edgar Eugene Arrington, who was wanted in connection with a murder that occurred in Washington, D.C. on July 5, 2025. Arrington was found at a residence on 410 Spence Drive in Salisbury and was taken into custody without incident. He was turned over to the U.S. Marshals at the scene.
Sheriff Travis Allen noted that operations like this highlight the strong partnerships between the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and federal agencies such as the U.S. Marshals.
