Landis, NC — As the start of the school year approaches, the Landis Police Department is calling on the community to help local students by donating school supplies during the upcoming Back to School Bash.
The event, in partnership with Landis Parks & Recreation, will be held on Friday, August 1st from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Central Avenue. The highlight of the evening will be the “Cram the Cruiser” drive, where officers will collect school supplies by literally packing a police cruiser full of donated items.
The effort aims to ensure that local students head into the new year prepared and confident. Community members are encouraged to bring new school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other classroom essentials.
The event will also feature games, food vendors, music, and a live concert at 7:00 p.m. featuring country artist Josh Sanders. Attendees can enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment while supporting a great cause.
Whether you’re dropping off supplies or enjoying the festivities, the Back to School Bash is a great opportunity to support local students and come together as a community.
Come out, have fun, and help Landis Police cram that cruiser!
