Daimler correspondence to employees following the fire yesterday.
“Daimler Truck Cleveland Team. Due to equipment and facility damage sustained in a fire on Saturday, production operations and support functions for 1st and 2nd shifts will be shut down for the week of September 1st through 5th. This excludes maintenance, maintenance will be required to report to their normal shift. All other areas and employees that will be required to work will be notified by management. We will provide additional updates next week as to the status of production operations. CTS will operate on a normal schedule Sept 2nd. Unemployment information can be found at www.des.nc.gov.”
