Salisbury Police Department Seeks Suspects in Fatal Motorcycle Crash

SALISBURY, N.C. — Authorities are searching for three people who fled the scene of a fatal crash involving four motorcycles and a passenger vehicle Friday night, according to the Salisbury Police Department.
Officers responded around 10:40 p.m. to the intersection of South Main Street and Airport Road after receiving reports of a collision involving a car and multiple motorcycles.
Investigators said a white Toyota Corolla bearing North Carolina registration LKL-7095 turned left onto Airport Road from South Main Street and entered the path of four motorcycles traveling south on South Main Street.
Jody Holloman, born May 6, 1971, was pronounced dead at the scene. One motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Another sustained minor injuries.
Police said three individuals, described as two Hispanic females and one Hispanic male, exited the vehicle involved in the crash and fled on foot.
