Salisbury structure fire displaces family on Timber Spring Lane

SALISBURY, N.C. — Fire crews responded to a fully involved structure fire in the 1000 block of Timber Spring Lane on Sunday after Rowan County 911 received numerous calls reporting the blaze.


Units arrived on scene to find the home heavily involved in flames and worked to bring the fire under control. Crews remained on scene extinguishing hot spots following initial containment.


A water supply was established on Weaver Road, where tanker trucks shuttled water to the fire scene.


Multiple fire apparatus lined Patterson Road during the response.


Agencies assisting on scene included Locke Fire Department, China Grove Fire Department, Atwell Fire Department, Salisbury Fire Department, Enochville Fire Department, West Rowan Fire Department, Rowan County EMS and Rowan County Rescue Squad.


The American Red Cross was called to assist two adults and one child who were displaced by the fire.


No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been released and remains under investigation.
