Strong-Arm Robbery Reported at First Bank on Knollwood Stree

Winston-Salem police are investigating a strong-arm robbery Monday at a First Bank branch on Knollwood Street.

Officers said the robbery happened around 4:20 p.m. at 401 Knollwood St. Police said a person entered the bank, demanded money, and left with an undisclosed amount. No injuries were reported.

Detectives are reviewing evidence and interviewing witnesses. The department has not released a suspect description.
