Three armed suspects rob Winston-Salem business at gunpoint

Winston-Salem, N.C. — Three armed suspects robbed a business early Tuesday morning on Peters Creek Parkway, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Officers said the robbery occurred around 7:20 a.m. on March 30 at Tapper Sweepstakes, located at 985 Peters Creek Parkway. Investigators reported that three Black males, all dressed in black and armed with handguns, entered the business and held employees at gunpoint.

Police said the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a newer model silver four-door sedan.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
