Winston-Salem Police Investigate Homicide on N. Cherry Street, One Dead

Winston-Salem police are investigating a homicide after a late-night shooting left one man dead and another injured.
Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded at 10:58 p.m. Saturday to a reported shooting at 2332 N. Cherry Street. They found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken by EMS to a local hospital. Antoni Rodriguez-Lopez, 21, later died from his injuries. Sorensen Reyes-Olmedo, 30, was treated and is listed in stable condition.
The Winston-Salem Police Department Criminal Investigations Division took over the case. No arrests have been announced.
