Winston-Salem police investigating shots fired into occupied home on Parkwood Avenue

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating after shots were fired into an occupied home early Friday.


Police said the incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. at 315 Parkwood Ave.


According to investigators, Temeshia Nichole Brown, 41, reported she and others were inside the residence when an unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple rounds into the home. Also inside at the time were Kimberly Pilson Brown, 63, and Torrey Demond Brown, 41.


Authorities said several unoccupied vehicles associated with the residence were also struck by gunfire.


No injuries were reported.


The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not released information about potential suspects or a motive.
