Salisbury Investigates Viral Video Showing Transit Bus Door Open with Wheelchair Passenger

The City of Salisbury says it is reviewing a video circulating on social media that shows a Salisbury Transit bus traveling through Spencer with its rear door open and a passenger in a wheelchair positioned in the doorway.

In a statement, officials said they are aware of the incident and emphasized that passenger safety is a top priority. “We take the safety of all passengers very seriously,” the city said. “We are actively investigating the situation and want to assure everyone that Salisbury Transit services remain safe.” Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
