Two Dead, Two Injured in Late Night Shooting in Concord

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord police are investigating a late-night shooting that left two people dead and two others injured.
Officers with the Concord Police Department responded at 11:08 p.m. Sunday to a report of shots fired at 1480 Fairington Drive NW. When officers arrived, they located four people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said two victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Cabarrus County EMS transported two additional victims to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
Investigators said the case remains active. Detectives continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
